a little of this and a little of that

as i was taking this picture the hunt started, so the girls had to make a mad dash for the eggs. luckily there are rules in place where everyone gets 10 eggs and then everyone has to go back to the start before the "free for all".

drew went to gibson's kindergarten class over his spring break to play guitar for her class.

see below for the video of them singing. so sweet, it almost brought tears to my eyes.

a yearly earth day tradition (i realize it isn't earth day, yet) picking up trash around our bushes. the kids love to do it, even the neighbor boy came to help!

my latest "project", i want to plant a vegetable garden this summer. the girls and i started the tomatoes, jalapenos, and peppers inside. our first seedlings appeared in just under a week.

here they are after about 2 1/2 weeks, almost everything that we planted has sprouted!

dad teaching the girls about hobos while they are making hobo burgers for the grill. seriously, he even taught them their drawings. a little out there, but the girls loved it. personally, i love the gigantic knife that he let gibson use for the onions!
