sunshine, that's what we had for father's day weekend! woo-hoo! this pic is from the dassel fireman's benefit street dance - they have about 10 bands play for about an hour each, so we decided to enjoy the evening and watch daddy play.

a bit of fun

due to the rainy weather, the girls and i ventured out to edina to an indoor playground, edinborough park.

the rain stopped long enough for us all to venture to glencoe for our first parade of the summer season! if you look close, gibson has a big wad of candy shoved in her mouth - yuck!

birthday fun

chaya celebrated her 5th birthday with cake and ice cream with a quick gilmore family gathering on sunday - a day prior to her real b-day.

this is my favorite. i videotaped the actually singing and blowing out of the candle (see video below) so i lit the candle again to get a still picture. chaya didn't take her eyes off of me and the cheeks are priceless, but hey the candle went out!
