it is official we have a teenager in the house! kenya turned 13, is nearly as tall as me, and is still full of spunk (that is a nice way of putting it)
what shenanigans could nine teenage girls possibly have with this as our theme?
first we had to feed the girls with a grill out.
emily, olivia, kendall, katie, kenya (feeding her face), carly, and brooke (becca and annika came a little later)
we did just a few of the dares included in the scavenger hunt. we decided to start with the park just to be on the safe side. the team pictured above had to have two members hang upside down and do a thumb war. harder for them then i thought.
here the three team members had to all get on one swing and swing together. lots of belly laughs.
here all the teams had to have members slide down forwards and backwards
we did a few crazy dares at culvers, but the girls took their own pictures of these stunts. (licking an ice cream cone at the same time, or eating a sundae with only their mouth)
the dare at target was for each team to gather ten carts from the parking lot and get them gathered by the front doors!

here is a short video of all the "teams" singing and acting out the song, "i'm a little teapot" in front of a gas station. this was the grand finale!

the girls were outside most of the night and then inside for a movie.
on her real birthday kenya really wanted to go fly a kite, so we did!
